Our Story

Essential Kitchen Sydney was established as an immediate response to the COVID-19 pandemic, hitting Sydney, Australia in March 2020. With a focus to provide restaurant quality, chef-made meals, Essential Kitchen Sydney aimed to help our customers struggling through the pandemic to improve both health and wellbeing.

 

 By improving total wellbeing through healthy eating, Essential Kitchen Sydney remains focused on helping to sustain a nutritious diet and improve your overall health and wellbeing.

 

All meals are made fresh daily using ethically sourced ingredients from local farmers, whenever possible. Deliveries are made between 7am-6pm Tuesday’s and Thursdays and our meals last 7 days, providing our customers the opportunity to always reach into their fridge whenever they’re hungry and grab a chef made meal, better than the rest.

 

As we continue to grow, we remain committed to what we originally set out to achieve. This year we plan on submitting our Modern Slavery Statement to reinforce our commitment to ethically sourced produce and in the near future we plan on changing our packaging to 100% compostable materials.
